easyFInd Review

Let me start by saying that I am a fan of anything that makes life easier, with that said, I think you will agree with me that easyFind is a great little tool! easyFind is a search tool, wait… a SUPER SEARCH TOOL!

easyFind takes a few steps out of the normal search you would do on your IPhone, instead of opening your Safari browser, waiting for the webpage to load, finding the search box, then typing your search in and waiting for the result, you can use easyFind. easyFind makes life easy, you just need to start up easyFind and type in your search term, choose the site you want to search on, BOOM there you go… quick and easy results without having to load Safari!

easyFind is pre loaded with Google, Yahoo, Flickr, Wikipedia, and Bloomberg Stock Ticker, for search pages. The great thing about easyFind is that you have the option of adding other popular sites to the search! easyFind allows you to add CNN, IMDB, ESPN, Digg, Delicious, TVGuide.com, Rotten Tomatoes, Yahoo Finance, Google Finance, NY Times, Google News, and a lot of others!

Another great item is that you can add shortcuts for websites that you like to search often. If you search Google frequently you can do a search by entering “g iPhone apps”. By entering the g before the search item easyFind will automatically search Google for IPhone apps.

easyFind has an extremely clean interface and easy to navigate options. The ability to add additional sites to the searches is a handy tool. The search results are excellent and are displayed quickly. The only thing I can think of that would make this even better would be landscape mode or a way to email the results of your search.

Overall I would recommend this application to just about anyone! The software works as advertised and completes the search quick and easy.

For my as lazy typer, the “multiple site feature” is helping me a lot. (1st wikipedia, then google or yahoo)

looks very useful but not exactly a necessity.

At first glance this doesn’t appear too useful, but instant searching of popular sites is actually really cool! Just today I had to do an IMDB search while mobile and it took several minutes using Google, since I didn’t initially specify IMDB as a term. For on-the-go searching this looks far better than Safari.

Updating it with custom search filters would be good but integrating it with the app store and youtube search would make this a one-place-stop for looking up any information.

That actually sounds usefull. It would save me from having to open a tab in safari just to search google.
