When I first opened this application, I was a little skeptical, first because I had never played this type of poker before, and second because I know how hard it is to pull off a great and realistic poker game. Boy, was I impressed with what I saw.
Being a complete beginner to 3 Card Poker, the game was difficult at first but intriguing. After a couple of minutes of learning the rules and overview of the game, I was pleasantly surprised with how fun and simple this new game was. In 3 Card Poker, you are essentially playing two games at once, the Ante-Play game, and the Pair Plus game. They are both played the same way, but the Pair Plus game requires you to have a pair or better to win. It is hard to describe the gameplay, but it is essentially stud poker with the simplicity and quickness of blackjack thrown in. If you are a fan of either of those games, I recommend that you learn this new poker game right away.
Now, down to the actual application. Three Card Pro is a great and faithful rendition of 3 card poker, and it is great fun. Graphically, it is one of the best card games I have seen. When you first open the app you will see the nice and simple menu screen with a live feed ticker at the bottom giving you news and info about what the developer is up to. There are five buttons on the screen: Play, which obviously allows you to play the game; My Profile, which allows you to observe the local leaderboard and the statistics, which range from hands played to your average wager; Mastering The Game, which will teach you the rules, history, and payouts of the game; Preferences, where you can change many things like sounds, card color, etc.; and finally Play More Games, which will link you to the appstore to buy more of this company’s games.
The in game interface is sleek and simple, with your chips on the right hand side, payouts at the top left, and a menu on the left. You tap the betting circle in which you want to bet in, and tap the chips to place your bet. When finished, tap deal and let the games begin.
The sounds in this game are great and don’t become annoying or ruin the game. There is no music, yet you can remedy that by playing your own tunes.
Controlling this game is a breeze, the tapping in this game is perfect and you will never accidentally hit something or have it not register.
Overall, the only bad thing I have to say about this game is the steep price tag. Here’s what I recommend: Try a version of this game on the internet, see if you like this gameplay, and if so, buy this app. This is the best version of 3 Card Poker on the app store, and if you are a fan of the game, let nothing stop you from having this on your device.

Big Fun Racing is unlike any other racing game on the App Store today. Yes, yes, I know the question you are all asking is there enough room on my iDevice for yet another racer? The answer is a resounding maybe.
Big Fun Racing tries to differentiate itself from the plethora of other racing games by providing us with it’s cartoon visual styles, objective based collection system, and time based arcade racer.
In Big Fun Racing, it is your job to collect all of the coins around you in the time allotted. Some of these levels are very straight forward, while others require jumping ramps and other obstacles to complete the level in time.

Once you complete a certain amount of tracks, you will unlock new cars, each with it’s own stats (speed and handling.) Some cars may be fast, but hard to navigate through the twists and turns of certain levels. Others will be easily controllable but jog along at a slow pace. So it’s essential to pick the proper vehicle to give you the best chance to succeed on each level.
The controls while simplistic work very well. There is a gas button on the bottom right, a brake/reverse button on the bottom left, a pause button (the little x) and a restart button, which will place you back at the starting point in need of emergency. I do wish though that the buttons were a tiny bit bigger and the steering was more easily controlled.
The tracks in Big Fun Racing are very diverse. All together there are over 50, each playable on every difficulty level with downloadable tracks with a new track every couple of weeks from the developer. Some have you driving up walls vertically, while others are basically a speed run just to get to the coins. Very few are repetitive, so they should keep you entertained for quit some time.
Graphically, this game does not have the best 3d graphics on the App Store, but they are good enough that you will enjoy the game without worrying how it looks. The tracks are pretty vanilla just consist of white walls with graffiti and possible a couple jumps or rectangles you have to get to. I hope in the future the developer implements some sort of scenery in a later update. The cars seem a tad blocky and bland. However I did enjoy the overall effect, it is as if you were driving around RC cars and building ramps to launch them off of.
Sound effects in this game are good, but the generic rock/pop tunes will get to you after a while. There is no option to play your own music, but thankfully you can play it by using the sleep button method.
The car physics work well for this type of game, but I did have a few problems with my cars flipping upside down (this is where that reset button comes into play.)
For the cheap price of this game, you will get your moneys worth. I enjoyed it and while it has its flaws, it is worth the price if your looking for some variation in your racing games.
